Introducing the IC8 Waterworks Compact Remote/Under-sink Chiller, designed to work seamlessly with water filter purification systems to provide chilled water for a drinking water tap or bubbler. This unit is perfect for use in homes or small offices, and can be conveniently installed under a sink or bench, or in any location that suits your needs.
The Chilling and Storage Tank of the IC8 is constructed of stainless steel, with a volume of 1.8 litres, fully insulated, and independently tested to withstand over 800psi static pressure. A drain plug and seal are provided, which can be removed for servicing. The internal waterlines are 1/4" OD stainless steel, which are heliarc welded to eliminate corrosion.
The Refrigeration System of the IC8 is a fan-assisted, static condenser system that utilizes R134a refrigerant. This refrigerant is non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-ozone depleting. The refrigerant flow is controlled by a capillary tube, which has no moving parts. The compressor is protected by an automatic overload and is hermetically sealed, as well as lifetime lubricated.
The Cooling Performance of the IC8 is 8 litres per hour at 10 degrees Celsius. The cooling speed from 27 degrees to 10 degrees takes 21 minutes.
The Plumbing Connections of the IC8 include recessed, 1/4" stainless steel pipes suitable for connection to industry-standard 1/4" quick connect fittings and 1/4" or 3/8" tubing.

Installation: The Waterworks™ lC8 can be installed in small spaces with adequate ventilation and can be used in conjunction with most inline filter systems. It must be professionally installed with either a vented tap or the included kit, which contains a pressure reducing valve (PRV), pressure limiting valve (PLV), shutoff valve, stainless steel connectors, and a drain clamp. Failure to install a certified Pressure Limiting Valve will void warranty.
Plumbing connections: Both the inlet and outlet are recessed ¼” stainless steel pipes, and quick connect stainless steel fittings are included in the installation kit.
Warranty: The Waterworks™ IC8 is covered by a 3-year comprehensive warranty, providing parts and labour coverage for the period of 3 years from the date of original sale. A copy of the warranty is available upon request.
